In 2001 Andreas joined the Diagnostics Division of the Gerolynatos Group as Sales Manager. During his 11-year tenure with Gerolymatos and the subsequent successor companies, Andreas played a key role in building the division’s In Vitro Dagnostics and Transfusion Technology franchises. These franchises included partnerships with Biomerieux, Beckman Coulter and Fresenius Kabi.
In December 2011 Andreas joined Leriva where he holds the position of Sales Director of the Diagnostics, Life Science and Transfusion Technology business units. In his capacity as Sales Director, Andreas directs and oversees the sales force, the team of product and application specialists that are positioned behind the various product categories and application areas, and the organization that is engaged in the administration and management of tenders and customer contracts. At the time of joining Leriva, the business units that Andreas was engaged in were still in their infancy. Over the years these businesses has grown handsomely and this is due in no small measure to the crucial role that Andreas has played in acquiring new accounts and expanding customer partnerships in application areas such as Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay, Microbiology and Uranalysis.
Andreas Koliopanos was born in Greece and is fluent in English. As a seasoned professional and with a career that spans three decades, from customers to products and from competitors to regulatory aspects, Andreas possesses an intimate knowledge of the local IVD, Life Science and Transfusion Technology markets in which Leriva competes. In addition to his role and responsibilities as Sales Director, Andreas also serves on the board of Leriva Diagnostics SA. Andreas Koliopanos holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology.
